Gordon Beckham and I were teammates in 2017 and 2018 with the Tacoma Rainiers and Seattle Mariners. He and I had very different backgrounds - Gordon was drafted in the 1st round and was in the big leagues within a year, while I was a late-round pick and spent time at every minor league level. While we were rooming together on the road in AAA, I was trying to figure out my scalability problem with my single-family rentals. Little did I know that Gordon was already invested in several multifamily deals and was the answer to my problem.

In this episode, we talk about how we worked together to buy our first multifamily deal, the qualities of a good partnership, and why it's so important that players like us are aware of multifamily as an investment opportunity for current and former players.
